Mounting Guidelines

Nozzle fabrication
Weld seams must be on the outside of the nozzle. Seams or lips on the inside of the
nozzle may cause erratic readings.
Nozzle design
The nozzle should be as short as possible.
If your application requires a nozzle longer than our
recommended maximum length consider using a
shielded rod.
Horn Antennas
The end of the horn should protrude a minimum of 10
mm (0.4") to avoid interference from the nozzle.
Threaded Rod Antenna
WARNING: For pressure applications, it is necessary to use PTFE tape
or other appropriate thread sealing compound, and to tighten the
process connection beyond hand-tight.
1.5" or 2" threaded
process connections
are available in three
thread types:
NPT, BSP , and G.
