SITRANS LR200 Overview

SITRANS LR200 is a 2-wire 6 GHz pulse radar level transmitter for continuous monitoring
of liquids and slurries in storage vessels including high pressure and high temperature, to
a range of 20 meters (66 feet). The instrument consists of an electronic component
coupled to an antenna and either a threaded or flange type process connection.
SITRANS LR200 supports HART
management software options:
• SIMATIC PDM
• AMS Device Manager
Signals are processed using Process Intelligence which has been field-proven in over
1,000,000 applications worldwide (ultrasonic and radar).

Programming
SITRANS LR200 is very easy to install and configure via a graphical local user interface
(LUI). You can modify the built in parameters either locally via the Siemens infrared
handheld programmer, or from a remote location using one of the following options:

• AMS Device Manager.
