Indicates the barcode read status.
Illuminates in blue when the BHT has successfully read a barcode.
Displays the characters and graphic patterns.
Press when scanning a barcode.
The SF and ENT key functions can be assigned to these magic keys by making settings at the
SYSTEM MENU.
Character strings can be assigned at user programs.
* Refer to "Chapter 4 System Operation" for details on how to operate the SYSTEM MENU.
Used to exchange data/programs with the optical communication unit CU-500 or other BHTs.
Be sure to put your hand through this strap to prevent you from dropping the BHT accidentally.
Remove this cover to replace the battery cartridge.
Use this to lock or unlock the battery cover.
Inside this cover is the connect interface port.
Align the reading window with barcodes to perform barcode scanning.
Place on the CU to charge the BHT.
Used to communicate with the wireless LAN access point.
Do not cover this antenna section with metal-evaporated tape or by hand. Doing so may result in
communication failures.
