(40) Card Guide ASY replacement

Removal
1. Remove the upper cover.
2. Remove the screws securing the upper guide F on its left and right, and release it to the front.
3. Remove the print head.
4. Remove the two screws securing the carrier holder , and remove the carrier holder.
5. Disconnect the TOF L cable, TOF R cable, and panel keyboard cable from the carriage PC board.
6. Remove the two screws securing the card guide ASY , and remove while rotating card guide ASY.
Installation
1. Install the card guide assembly by reversing the removal procedure.
2. Improper cable forming may cause the breaking of wire. See next page to form the wire appropriately.
(Do the homing surely about the homing of TOF L cable, TOF R cable, and panel keyboard cable between
the carrier holder and the carrier.)
3. After installation, the following adjustments are required:
- Card guide attaching position
- TOF sensor out p ut
- Auto loading position
- Printing positions at paper end
- Left printing start position
- Skew de tection
