Cause
The document feed roller or document
holding pad is dirty.
The paper size is bigger than the size
of the document (when the zoom rate
is set to 100%).
The document orientation is different
from the paper orientation.
The document is not reduced at the
rate that suits the paper size.
Solution
Clean the document
feed roller and
document holding pad.
Use paper of the same
size as the document.
Set the document
orientation to suit
paper.
Reduce the document at
the rate that suits the
paper size.
