Tube Catalog

The tube catalog (see
rotors. Tube selection depends on a variety of factors, such as sample volume, number of sample
components to be separated, particle size, required run time, required quality of separation, type
of separation, and the rotor and ultracentrifuge in use. General information about tube selection
and use is in Rotors and Tubes for Beckman Coulter Preparative Ultracentrifuges (LR-IM), and tube
ordering information is in the Ultracentrifuge Rotors, Tubes and Accessories Catalog (BR-8101,
available at www.beckmancoulter.com). Tubes are grouped in the catalog by type—OptiSeal, Quick-
Seal, open-top, and konical. The tube type is indicated by an icon beside the tube name. You can
view the specifications of a listed tube using the following procedure.
