Two simulations are provided for the pelleting of RNA molecules in the range 0.1 to 3.0 kbp through
a cushion of 5.7 M CsCl at 25°C in a swinging bucket rotor. The RNA (Best) simulation, of a sample
suspended in 2.91 M CsCl containing 4 M GuSCN layered over a CsCl cushion occupying one-third of
the tube volume, is optimized for purity.
To set up an ESP RNA (Best) run:
