4. Loosen the screw to the positive terminal and insert the red wire far enough to insert the bare wires
into the terminal block under the screw, then tighten the screw.
5. Be careful not to break the wires.
6. Repeat Step 3 with the negative terminal and the black wire.
7. Plug the cable into the 485 RJ-45 port on the Liebert IntelliSlot Unity card.

2.2 Change User Names and Passwords Immediately

NOTE
Emerson recommends changing the administrative and general user names
and passwords immediately to safeguard protected configuration and control
areas of the Liebert IntelliSlot Unity card.
The administrative user name and password are set at the factory: Liebert and Liebert (case-sensitive). All
printable characters are valid except \ : ' < > ~ ? " #
The general user name and password are also set at the factory: User and User (case-sensitive). The
general user has access only to non-protected configuration and control areas of the Liebert IntelliSlot
Unity card.
To change the user names and passwords:
1. Select the Communications tab > Configuration > User.
2. Click the Edit button and enter the factory-set administrator user name (Liebert) and password
(Liebert).
3. Click OK.
4. Enter a new administrator user name and password.
5. Re-enter the administrator password to confirm it.
6. Enter a new general user name and password.
