5.4.5 Configuration—LIFE
The LIFE subfolder contains settings that affect use of the Emerson
monitoring and diagnostic service for Emerson Network Power units. The LIFE settings are for use by
trained Emerson Network Power personnel only and require no user changes. For information about the
LIFE settings, refer to Appendix A - Configuration Folder—LIFE
5.4.6 Configuration—Emerson Protocol Folder
Emerson Protocol contains four subfolders: Managed Device, MSTP, Ethernet and Internal.
NOTE
With the exception of changing the node ID when multiple cards are used or when disabling
Emerson-Protocol IP access, the settings in the Emerson Protocol subfolders should not be
modified unless directed by an Emerson Network Power representative.
