Operational Information
The MS+UPN2-8 interface card can
be exchanged during operation, i.e.
without powering down the system.
However, the slot must first be deac-
tivated in the Configurator in the
MS+A1-8
Field of Application
The MS+A1-8 interface card pro-
vides eight analogue interfaces for
connecting analogue terminals.
The MS+A1-8 interface card can be
installed in any of the slots (1 to 12)
of the OpenCom 510 (see Slots start-
ing on page 22).
Technical Information
The MS+A1-8 interface card can

also be installed in a slave sys-
tem.
The MS+A1-8 interface card
■
supports pulse dialling as well as
dual-tone multi-frequency
(DTMF) dialling. The central re-
ceivers of the MC+1-3 interface
card are used for DTMF recogni-
tion.

entation (CLIP) is supported.

DECT base stations can be connected
only if the interface card has been
installed in the master system of a
cascaded configuration.
The consultation feature can be

selected by means of a flash key
and/or earthing key.
The MS+A1-8 interface card

runs on software acquired from
the system. After the card has
been installed it will automati-
cally load the required software.
No settings need to be made on
■
the MS+A1-8 interface card.

Indicators
There are four LEDs on the front of
the MS+A1-8 interface card.
