Field of Application
The MX+S01-8 interface card pro-
vides eight 8 S
interfaces which can
0
be used for either external connec-
tions, i.e. to connect the
OpenCom 510 to a digital network
(PSTN, Public Switch Telephony Net-
work), or internal connections, i.e. to
connect digital terminals (ISDN tele-
phones, ISDN fax machines etc.) to
the OpenCom 510.
The MX+S01-8 interface card can be
installed in any of the slots (1 to 12)
of the OpenCom 510 (see Slots start-
ing on page 22).
Technical Information
The MX+S01-8 interface card
can also be installed in a slave
system.
DIP switches S1 to S16 can be
used to activate a 100-ohm ter-
minal resistor (default: ON).

The power failure circuit can be
activated by means of DIP
switches S17 to S20 (default:
off). If activated, the system will
connect the first S
with the eighth S

runs on software acquired from
the system. After the card has
been installed it will automati-
cally load the required software.
