Fuel filter - Drain water

When handling fuel, make sure there are no open flames or other fire hazards near the engine.
Wipe off any spilled fuel completely.Spilled fuel can ignite and cause a fire.
Drain water for the fuel filter if the warning of water
draining for fuel filter is occurred.
1. Place a drip tray under the drain hose.
2. Loosen the drain plug and drain water from the fuel
filter.
3. Feed fuel by pushing down on the priming pump
(about seven strokes) to facilitate draining.
4. After draining, tighten the drain plug securely.
5. After drain the fuel filter, bleed the fuel system.
For bleeding air from fuel system, refer to
system (distributor type fuel injection pump) - Bleed
air" (8-5).
