prompted for a password;
press ESC key to abort.
Once set, this can be
disabled by setting it to a
null string, or by clearing

Requires password entry
before boot. System will
remain in secure mode
until password is entered.
Password on Boot takes
precedence over Secure
Mode Boot.
Controls access to diskette
drives.
Write-protects boot sector
on hard disk to protect
against viruses.
Period of key/PS/2 mouse
inactivity specified for
secure mode to activate. A
