 NOTE: The fan wiring must be in the upper-right
position.
2. Install the radiator (see Radiator in this section).

Troubleshooting

Problem: Starting impaired
Condition
1. Fuel contaminated
Problem: Idling or low speed impaired
Condition
1. Fuel filter plugged
Problem: Medium or high speed impaired
Condition
1. Governor spring broken
2. Fuel filter obstructed
3. Throttle cable out of adjustment

Water Pump

 NOTE: The water pump is a non serviceable compo-
nent and must be replaced as an assembly.
To replace the water pump, see Engine/Transmission -
Left-Side Components.
Remedy
1. Drain fuel tank and fill with clean fuel
Remedy
1. Replace fuel filter
Remedy
1. Replace speed governor spring
2. Replace filter
3. Adjust throttle cable
