CLO Targets

CLO Targets in a standard projector
The light output target for the CLO is set in this menu. This light output value will be forced on the projector provided that the CLO
mode has been set to ON.
Three targets can be set:
a CLO target in normal mode
a CLO target in Infitec stereo mode
CLO Targets in a projector with Night Vision option
The light output target for both CLO and Time of Day is set in this menu. This light output value will be forced on the projector
provided that the CLO mode has been set to ON.
Three targets can be set:
a CLO target in normal mode
a CLO target in Infitec stereo mode
a Time of Day target
If CLO is active and Time of Day is set to x%, the light output of the projector will be forced to x% of the CLO target.

How to set the CLO target in normal mode?
1. Press MENU to activate the Tool bar
2. Press → to select the Lamps item
3. Press ↓ to pull down the Lamps menu
4. Use ↑ or ↓ to select CLO
5. Press → to pull down the CLO menu
6. Use ↑ or ↓ to select Targets
7. Press → to pull down the Targets menu
8. Use ↑ or ↓ to select Normal Mode ...

It is strongly advised to only apply CLO target settings that result in a Constant Contrast Dimmer (CCD) trans-
mission of 15% or higher. This CCD transmission value can be seen in the OSD: Lamps > Dimmer Control >
Set Positions... > Constant Contrast Dimmer.

In projectors without Night Vision option, the Time of Day target is greyed out.
Each time the projector is restarted, the Time Of Day (TOD) is automatically set to Day mode to get full light
output, thus avoiding the menu being invisible due to low light output!
