Apply smear reduction processing (SRP)

About
Smear Reduction Processing (SRP) is a custom-designed temporal blanking solution used to reduce or eliminate smearing in high
motion imagery. Available settings are either SRP Half, SRP Full or Off.
Both settings introduce 8.3333 ms Dark Time to the image @ 60 Hz or 4.1666 ms @ 120Hz, however the color wheel sequencing
differs between the two modes of operation to give a different visual effect. Respective color wheel sequences are RGB, blank for
SRP™ Half and RGB, RGB blank / blank for SRP™ Full. Results are subjective and therefore the mode selected is entirely at the
discretion of the end user.
Increasing Dark Time has an adverse effect on projector brightness. For example increasing Dark Time by 8.3333 ms represents
exactly half of the 16.6666 ms video frame interval at 60Hz, brightness subsequently reduced by 50% as a result. It is important to
note that full color bit depth is retained even when brightness is reduced. In order to recover some brightness color wheel spokes
are enabled by default when SRP™ Half and Full settings are applied. This default setting can be overridden by enabling SRP at
Main menu — Settings — Service — Enable advanced profiles if required.
Using SRP™ with the projector in AS3D mode is not supported.
Mode selection is from the OSD Main menu — Picture — RealColor — BrilliantColor menu or via external control.
