11.5 Synchronization menu 3D

3D Source sync
Main menu — Installation — Synchronization — 3D source sync
Used to define which input source will be used for left eye/right eye synchronization signal.
The menu options for 3D source sync differ lightly depending on which 3D mode is selected.
See table below for more information:

The source will determine the order of
the input frames. Accurate only with
DP sources with inband sync. For
other sources this will only be correct
50% of the times and the 3D menu
option, Swap eyes, must be used to
correct the problem.
Sync
Use the signal on the selected sync-in
to determine the order of the input
1,2,3
frames.
3D Display sync
Main menu — Installation — Synchronization — 3D source sync
Used to define which display source will be used for left eye/right eye synchronization signal.
The menu options for 3D source sync differ lightly depending on which 3D mode is selected.

swap eyes option must be used to
correct the problem.

Use the signal on the selected
1,2,3
sync-in to determine the order of the
input frames.
3D Sync 1
Main menu — Installation — Synchronization — [3D] Sync 1
This menu option is used to select which signal the Sync 1 connector shall send out.
When a Sync in connector (Sync 1,2,3) is used for source or display synchronization it will automatically be
configured as 'input' and it will not be possible to select any type of output for this connector.

Input
Used as sync signal to determine the order of input frames.
Display
Sends the sync signal from the 3D display sync source.
sync
Glass
Sends a signal that is used to synchronize the shutter glasses. Connect this signal to the IR or RF emitter.
sync
Sync 2
Sends the sync signal from the sync 2 connector.
Sync 3
Sends the sync signal from the sync 2 connector.
3D Sync 2
Main menu — Installation — Synchronization — [3D] Sync 2
This menu option is used to select which signal the Sync 1 connector shall send out.
