Throw distance

Calculating the installation throw distance
Throw is the distance (D) measured from your projector lens to the screen. To calculate the throw distance for an installation, you
will need two pieces of data: the selected lens throw ratio (L) and the horizontal width (W) of the screen.
For example, if the screen width (W) is 2.4 meters and the projector lens has a throw ratio (L) of 0.99:1, then the throw distance (D)
will be 2.38 meters.
Calculation:
2.4 x 0.99 = 2.38
The following graphs illustrate the image size (W) and projection distance (D) for each of the projector lenses.
Tolerances are typically +/- 5% due to optical (lens) variation.
