WARNING: A minimum of 4 anchor points must be used to secure the projector properly. It is
strongly recommended to use fixation points with as long mutually spacing as possible, in order to
increase the mechanical stability of the installation.
WARNING: Max tensile load for each anchor point is 43,75 kg. This must be a major consideration
when designing the brackets for fixation of the projector.
Anchor points front
There is also 12 anchor points in the front. They will be visible when the plastic front cover is removed. See
"Removal of the front cover", page 41 below, regarding how to remove the front cover.
These anchor points are mainly intended for lens support and other "extras", but can also be used as
anchorpoints.
WARNING:
When installing the projector in a motion platform application, the anchor points in front (Item 3 in
the illustration and table) must NOT be used. Use the anchor points in the bottom plate for this
purpose.
4.8 Removal of the front cover

Remove the lens.
Remove the 8 screws, and pull the cover out.

4.9 Throw distance

Calculate the installation throw distance
Throw is the distance (D) measured from your projector lens to the screen. To calculate the throw distance for
an installation, you will need two pieces of data: the selected lens throw ratio (L) and the horizontal width (W)
