Pressure plug (5)
• The appliance is equipped with an external plug to measure the
smoke outlet duct vacuum. This management and checking operation
must be carried out by authorised persons upon installing the firebox
or when carrying out maintenance (Fig. 49).
DB9 serial port (6)
• The appliance is equipped with a DB9 serial port used to carry
out checks on appliance operation. Checks must be carried out by
authorised personnel upon installing the appliance or when carrying
out maintenance (Fig. 49).
Both these control devices are present in the bottom right of the
sliding part of the product, hidden behind the lower grille; this must be
dissembled in order access these devices.

5.6 INSTALLING ThE ExTERNAL ThERMOSTAT

• The appliance is designed to be connected to an external room
thermostat.
• Connection of the thermostat is carried out using a 2 x 0.5 mm
cable, the conductors of which are inserted and fixed into the two
bottom holes of the terminal board which is also used for electrical
connection (Fig. 50).
• This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel.

Any type of room thermostat may be installed; ensure that the
cable, in its final position, is not in contact with hot parts. With
regards connection of the room thermostat to the electronic
board, refer to the electrical diagram.

Ensure you are using a non-powered contact (normally open)
with zero power; do not connect any powered element to the
aforementioned.
