● Install the handlebar holders and tighten their nuts
temporarily.
● Install the steering stem.
● Tighten the steering stem nut ① and steering stem
upper nut ② using the special tool.
Steering stem nut
: 80 ~ 100 N· · m (8.0 ~ 10.0 kgf· · m)
NOTE
The torque value of the steering stem nut and
steering stem upper nut is reference data.
Clamp wrench : 09940-10122
● Turn the steering stem lower bracket about five or six
times to the right and left.
● Loosen the steering stem nut
NOTE
This adjustment will vary from motorcycle to
motorcycle. Make sure that the steering turns
smoothly and easily in both directions without
play.
