Select Save this program
to disk when prompted.
Save the download file to a
new directory on your PC.

After the download is
complete, use Windows
Explorer to open the new
directory created in step 2.

Double-click on the .exe
file that was downloaded.
The .exe is a self-
extracting compressed file
that allows you to uncompress the installation files.

After the files are uncompressed, close the extract utility, and then con-
tinue with the installation steps described in the next section, beginning
with step 2.
Manually Installing the KONICA MINOLTA
PostScript Driver for Windows Me & 98
The following assumes that you are installing the KONICA MINOLTA
PostScript Driver for Windows XP for the first time.
Installing the PostScript Printer Driver
You would use similar steps to install the PCL driver.

If the driver you are installing is on the
Software Utilities CD-ROM, make
sure that the CD-ROM is in your
CD-ROM drive.
If the CD-ROM installation application
starts, close the application before
continuing.

From the Start menu, choose
Settings/Printers.

Double-click on the Add Printer icon.
The Add Printer Wizard starts.
