custom profiles can be downloaded for RGB Source, Simulation, and
Destination profiles.
Creating a Custom Destination Profile
1
Create an ICC output profile that describes the new color space of your
magicolor 2350 at the desired resolution.
Attention
Set the maximum toner limit to 250% in the separations setup of
your profiling software. Setting the limit higher than 250% can
damage the fuser and produce undesirable image artifacts.
2
Name the profile.
Windows—Use any naming convention, as long as it follows the 8.3
filename/extension standard.
Macintosh—Name your destination profile custdes1.icc,
custdes2.icc, or custdest3.icc if you intend to store the profile on
your printer's hard disk. If you plan to store the profile in the printer's
Flash memory, name your destination profile custdes4.icc,
custdes5.icc, or custdes6.icc.
3
Download the file to the hard disk using either FTP or the Download
Manager.
