window provides the following
information:

A plane is defined as a one-color face, while a face is defined as a sin-
gle side of a sheet of media. A color face is typically made of 4 color
planes.

Description
Identifies the type of consumable that is being
monitored.
Graphically represent the remaining life of the
identified consumable item.
Describes the remaining life of the consumable
item in plane or face counts.
Plane counts are based on 5% toner
coverage for each page. If your pages
average more than 5% coverage, the
remaining life is less than the plane count
displayed.
Describes the amount of remaining life for the con-
sumable using a percentage of total life based on
plane or face counts.
