Appendix H BIOS Rewrite Procedures
This Appendix explains how to rewrite the system BIOS program when updating the BIOS on
the computer.
Tools
To rewrite the BIOS, the following tool is required:
BIOS rewrite disk for the T200/T200CS
Rewriting the BIOS
Follow the procedures below to perform the BIOS rewrite program.
1. Set the system to Boot Mode.
2. Turn off the power to the computer.
3. Remove any external cables and PCMCIA card.
4. Connect the external 3.5-inch FDD and external keyboard to the computer.
5. Insert the BIOS rewrite disk into the FDD.
6. Turn on the power to the computer.
7. Check the BIOS version message when it is displayed. If the BIOS version is correct,
press Y.
8. When the BIOS re-writing is finished and the system speaker beeps three times,
remove the BIOS re-writing disk and press the reset switch to re-start the system.
