Installing the Hard Disk Drive

To install the computer's HDD, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-4 through 4-7.
1. Secure the bracket with the four flat-head M1.6x4 silver screws (Figure 4-7).
2. Place the HDD on the HDD slot. Make sure the HDD connector connects to the
system board PJ408 correctly as shown in Figure 4-6.
3. Connect the RTC battery to the HDD cover (Figure 4-5).
4. Replace the HDD cover and secure it with the one M2.5x6 screw (Figure 4-4).
5. Install the optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card, and battery pack as
described in sections 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4.
