6.3 Tools

Use tu to access the menu Tools in the main menu, which includes following submenus: Timer, Time
adjust and Software update.
Use pq to select the submenu and press oK.
6.3.1 Timer
This submenu allows you to turn the receiver on and off based on scheduled events. Timers can be set
from the EPG (recommended and the most convenient way). However, you can set timers manually in
this submenu.
In the submenu Timer a summary of the configured timers will be displayed: number, channel name,
date, start and end times, repeat and timer status.
note: The list will be empty if there are no configured timers.
You can add, change or delete a timer.

Press red to add a timer. Use tupq and 0-9 to configure the settings for the event:

By resetting the receiver to the factory defaults, all your settings, all stored
channels and their lists will be permanently deleted. Please use this option
with care!
After selecting this option you will be asked to enter the PIN code (default
pIn: 0000).
After a factory default reset, the receiver will reboot and you will be guided
through the First Installation Guide again.
The receiver PIN code will also be changed back to the factory default
setting: 0000. If necessary, change it again as described in chapter 6.2.4.
Press oK to access the channel list, use pq to select a channel and press oK
to confirm. The name of this channel will appear in the options line;
Use tu to select a cycling type of timer. The option Once means that timer
will be executed once, after which it will be removed from the timers list. Daily
– the timer will run each day at the specified time (Time field). Weekly – the
timer will run every week at specified day of week (Day field) at the set time
(Time field);
Use tu to select a type of event, which will happen on timer execution. The
option Record means that timer will start recording the specified channel.
Turn ON – the timer will switch to the specified channel;
Enter the date when the timer should be executed. Date format "dd/mm/
yyyy";
