6.2.4 parental control

This submenu allows you to control blocking of certain programmes from unrestricted viewing, access
to certain menu options and usage of the EPG based parental rating system if supported by the local
broadcast.

6.2.5 reset factory default
This option allows you to reset the receiver to the factory settings.
Use tu to define the duration of banner display in viewing mode. It can be
set in range from 1 to 20 seconds.
Use tu to define the transparency of menus and other system information
windows. Available options: 25%, 50%, 75%, No transparency.
Use tu to define the period of time after which the receiver shall switch
from the "wait" mode (when everything is off, but the memory of the receiver
is not cleared) to completely off stage. As long as the memory of the receiver
is not cleared during this period, the receiver returns to operation mode very
quickly (2-3 seconds). Available options: Never, 5 min, 15 min (default value),
30 min, 1h, 3h.
Use tu to define the period of time after which the receiver shall switch
to the "wait" mode if no commands have been received from the remote
control. Available options: Disabled (default value), 1h, 2h, ..., 12h.
Use tu to define the possibility for the receiver to automatically update
channel lists. Set the option to On to enable the update procedure for channel
lists in case any broadcasting changes in happen. This procedure is performed
in standby mode. If the receiver detects new channels in the broadcasted
signal or cannot find some channels in it, it compares with stored channels
in the memory. Before it starts operating the receiver will offer you to accept
these changes and modify the channel list. Select oK to confirm or
reject.
To change the settings in this menu you must enter a valid PIN code (default
pIn: 0000).
If set to ON it is required to enter the PIN code to view the blocked channel.
If set to ON it is required to enter the PIN code to change options in the menus
Channels Organizer, Settings and other important parameters and actions in
the menu.
Use tu to change settings. Available options: Disabled (default value), 6+,
10+, ..., 18+, All Blocked.
Correct working of this function highly depends on the information from
the operator. It is recommended to set this parameter to the age of the
youngest child who has access to watching TV with this receiver. Whenever
switching through channels which submit EPG based parental rate and the
rate of current broadcast is higher than adjusted rate, it is required to enter
the PIN code for viewing this channel.
Enter the new PIN code. This option can be used to change the current PIN
code to new one.
Confirm the new PIN code. Re-enter the new PIN code.
