2. Remove the cap screw securing the driven clutch; then
remove the outer sheave of the driven clutch. Account
for a flat washer and alignment shim(s).
3. Remove the cap screw (left-hand threads) securing the
drive clutch assembly; then using an appropriate
clutch puller, remove the drive clutch. Account for a
spacer.
4. Remove the drive belt.
5. Remove and discard the cap screws securing the V-
belt housing to the crankcase; then remove the V-belt
housing. Account for two alignment pins.
6. Remove the cap screws securing the clutch cover;
then using a rubber mallet, carefully remove the cover.
Account for two alignment pins.
7. Using a suitable press, remove the clutch housing
from the clutch cover. Discard the fixed drive face
spacer and O-ring.

8. Remove and retain the two machine screws and bear-
ing retainers.
