• A seguito di un incidente di una
certa entità, sostituire la cintura
indossata, anche se in apparenza
non sembra danneggiata.
• Periodicamente verificare che le viti
degli ancoraggi siano serrate a fon-
do, che il nastro sia integro e che
scorra senza impedimenti.
• Il nastro va tenuto pulito; la pre-
senza d'impurità può pregiudicare
l'efficienza dell'arrotolatore.
• Per pulire la cintura lavarla a mano
con acqua e sapone neutro, risciac-
quarla e lasciarla asciugare. Non
usare detergenti forti, candeggianti
o solventi aggressivi che possano
indebolire le fibre.
Evitare che gli arrotolatori venga-
no bagnati: il loro corretto funzio-
namento è garantito solo se non
subiscono infiltrazioni d'acqua.
• Il pretensionatore non necessita di
alcuna manutenzione, ne lubrificazio-
ne. In caso di immersione del dispo-
sitivo in acqua e fango, è tassativa-
mente necessaria la sua sostituzione.
• Il pretensionatore deve essere sosti-
tuito ogni 15 anni.

Taking Care of the
Seatbelt Pre-tensioners
• Following a collision with a certain
degree of impact, replace the seatbelt
that was worn at the time, even if it
does not appear to be damaged.
• Check the anchor screws regularly
to ensure that they are still fully
tightened and that the belt is com-
pletely intact and runs without jam-
ming.
• The belt must be kept clean; the
presence of any dirt could reduce
winding efficiency.
• To clean the seatbelt, wash it by
hand using mild soap and water,
rinse it and allow it to dry. Do not
use strong detergents, bleach or
aggressive solvents, which could
weaken the fibers.
Do not let the winding units get
wet - proper operation is only guar-
anteed if they have not undergone
any water infiltration.
• The pre-tensioner does not require
any form of maintenance or lubri-
cation. If they are immersed in wa-
ter or mud, they must be replaced
without any exceptions.
• The pre-tensioners must be replaced
every 15 years.

gravité, remplacer la ceinture utili-
sée, même si elle ne paraît pas en-
dommagée.
• Contrôler régulièrement que les vis
de fixation soient serrées à fond,
que la courroie soit en bon état et
qu'elle coulisse sans peine.
• La courroie doit toujours être pro-
pre; la présence d'impuretés peut
altérer l'efficacité de l'enrouleur.
• Pour nettoyer la ceinture, la laver à
la main à l'eau et au savon neutre,
l'essorer et la laisser sécher. Ne pas
employer de détergents, de produits
blanchissants, de solvants puissants
qui pourraient endommager le tissu.
Eviter que les enrouleurs ne viennent
au contact de l'eau: leur bon fonction-
nement n'est garanti que s'ils ne su-
bissent aucune infiltrations d'eau.
• Le prétensionneur n'a besoin d'aucun
entretien, ni de lubrification. En cas
d'immersion du dispositif dans l'eau
ou la boue, il est formellement
nécessaire de le remplacer.
• Le prétensionneur doit être rem-
placé tous les 15 ans.

• Nach einem Unfall einer bestimmten
Stärke den hierbei angelegten Gurt
austauschen, auch wenn er anschei-
nend keine Beschädigung aufweist.
• In regelmäßigen Abständen überprü-
fen, ob die Verankerungsschrauben
noch gründlich befestigt sind, ob das
Gurtband unversehrt ist und sich ohne
Schwierigkeiten ziehen läßt.
• Das Gurtband sauberhalten; Ver-
schmutzungen können die Wirksam-
keit der Aufrollvorrichtung beein-
trächtigen.
• Zu seiner Reinigung sollte der Gurt
von Hand mit Wasser und neutra-
ler Seife gewaschen werden, die Seife
mit klarem Wasser entfernen und
den Gurt trocknen lassen. Keine
starken Reinigungsmittel, Bleichmit-
tel oder aggressive Lösungsmittel
verwenden, die das Gurtgewebe
schwächen können.
Die Aufrollvorrichtung darf nicht
naß werden. Nur dann ist ihre kor-
rekte Funktion gewährleistet.
• Der Gurtstraffer benötigt weder
Wartung noch Schmierung. Sollte
die Vorrichtung von Wasser oder
Schlamm bedeckt werden, muß sie
ausgetauscht werden.
• Der Gurtstraffer muß alle 15 Jahre
ausgetauscht werden.
