Ascom d62 DECT Handset
If name resolution is configured for the handset, and no matching entry is found in the
phone books, the caller identification is partially shown with the caller extension provided
by CLIP.
No Caller Identification
If the PBX is not configured for display management text, CLIP or CNIP, a predefined
message is displayed. The message is defined in the language file and may vary depending
on the type of incoming call. For example, "Unknown Caller".
5.28 Services
Note: This feature is applicable for d62 Messenger and d62 Protector only.
From PDM/Device Manager, it is possible to configure up to 10 services that can be reached
from the Services menu. It is also possible to configure soft keys to reach services quickly. A
list of predefined functions are available such as Phone call, Send message and Send data.
5.28.1 Add Service

Select "Services".

Select the service (1 - 10) to be configured.

In the Name field, enter the name of the service. It will be displayed in the handset.

In the Type drop-down list, select the function (Send Message, Phone Call or Send
data) to be used.

If needed, in the Number field, enter the destination number for the message/call/
data. The following values can be entered in the Number field: Digits 0-9, #, *, P –
pause, H – hook.
Tip: If the Phone call function was selected, an additional character U can be entered
in the Number field. The handset will prompt for user input with the possibility to
enter numerical characters before establishing a call (procedure call).

If needed, in the Prefix field, enter the prefix to be used.
5.28.2 Delete Service

Select "Services".

Select the service (1 - 10) to be deleted.

In the Name field, delete the name of the service.
5.29 Protect Registration from User Deletion
It is possible to protect or unprotect a registration from deletion via the handset menu by
altering the parameter "Protected flag". In a template/Number in PDM/Device Manager, the
parameter is found at:
Systems > System X > Registration data.
5.30 Emergency Call Number
This is a phone number for emergency calls. It is always possible to call this number,
regardless of whether phone-lock or key-lock are active or not. The Parameter is found in a
template/Number in PDM/Device Manager in the "Settings" folder.
