Connecting a network interface cable

This section explains how to connect a network interface cable.
Follow the procedure below to connect this printer to your PC.
NOTE
• When connecting the printer and computer via the hub, use a straight cable.
• When connecting the printer and computer Peer-to-Peer, use a crossover cable.
1. Turn OFF both the printer and PC.
2. Insert the network interface cable into the network interface connector located on the back of the
printer.
