PBX operation

You can also connect your Top A47
PBX. Please refer to your PBX user manual before connecting the telephone.
You can also program several users when connected to a PBX and assign them different exten-
sion numbers.

PBX operation on/off

Operation with a PBX is user-independent.
Check whether PBX operation is activated and activate it if necessary:
Press the menu button repeatedly until the display shows »Installation«.
Press the softkey key under »

eration« with the current setting (on/off, default: off), while the second line
shows »ok« and the opposite of the current status.
Press the softkey under the status in the second line.
Press the softkey under »ok«. The setting is saved.

To exit the menu, hold down the EXIT button.
To connect your Top A47
mode. All system settings (e.g. EAC, automatic keypad sending etc.) are activated.
Should your phone fail to operate to your satisfaction, check the following system set-
tings.
