PBX operation
Internal number length
For PBX operation, the length of internal numbers (number of digits) must be programmed to
enable internal calls to be distinguished from external calls (the phone is delivered with the in-
ternal number length set to 4 digits).
Press the menu button repeatedly until the display shows »Installation«.
Press the softkey key under »
change
Press the softkey under »change«. The display shows »PBX operation« with the
current setting (on/off).
Press the softkey under »
setting (default: 4 digits).
Press the softkey under »change«.
change
Press the softkey under » « or » « to change the setting.
Press the softkey under »ok«. The new internal number length is saved.
ok
To exit the menu, press the EXIT button.

Setting the transfer type
To transfer calls within the PBX system, you need to set the transfer type. This obligatory switch-
ing type setting (functional or disconnect) depends on your PBX.
Press the menu button repeatedly until the display shows »Installation«.
Press the softkey key under »
Press the softkey under »change«. The display shows »PBX operation« with the

current setting.
Press the softkey key under »
status (default: EURO).
Press the softkey under »change«. The second line shows the inactive status.

Press the softkey under the inactive status to activate it.
Press the softkey under »ok«. The setting is saved.

To exit the menu, press the EXIT button.
You can conduct a test to check on the settings you need:
During a call, set up a second call with »Enquiry« and try to connect both call partners,
see »Transferring calls«. If this fails, you need to change the transfer type.
