Short Message Service (SMS)

Options
Your telephone can receive, write and send SMS messages.
A single SMS can be up to 160 characters in length.

The launch date will be sent to you by SMS.
Storage capacity
The storage capacity for (received) SMS messages is limited: Your phone can store up to 15 SMS
messages. The oldest is overwritten as soon as this limit is exceeded!
Delete SMS messages once you have read or sent them, to save on storage space! Only
save very important messages or drafts!
For technical reasons (e.g. charging), every SMS message must be delivered to MSNs, even
if you have suppressed them.
SMS messaging is subject to a charge.
SMS gateway number
All SMSs you send are always first sent via a gateway. The gateway number (081 286 61 30) is
already programmed in your telephone.
If you need to change the SMS gateway number, enter the new number in the
"Functions/Messages/SMS gateway number" menu.
