Safety tips

Note the following precautions to protect yourself from physical harm:
Never
– open the telephone yourself.
– Touch contacts with sharp, metallic objects
Stow connection cables carefully to avoid tripping over them.
Note the following tips for positioning, connecting and operating the telephone.
• Position the telephone away from:
– heat sources,
– direct sun,
– other electrical equipment.
• Protect your telephone against dust and avoid getting it wet or exposing it to aggressive liq-
uids and steam.
• Do not plug the connection cord in sockets other than the one for which it is intended.
• Connect only authorised accessories.
• Clean the telephone with a soft, damp cloth. Abrasive cleaning agents or solvents are not
suitable.
• The telephone may only be repaired by authorised service personnel.
