Text message

You can send text messages to other persons with an ISDN phone which supports UUS (User-to-
User Signalling service). This is not the same as SMS messaging.
Since not all ISDN phones support UUS signalling, check with the other party before sending a
message.
Press the menu button until »Functions« appears.
Press the softkey key under »
Press the softkey under »send«. The display shows »Text«.
send
Write your message. Press the softkey under »A->a« to switch between upper
and lower case lettering.
ok Press the softkey under »ok«. The display shows »Dial:«.
Enter the number to which the message is to be sent.
You can also send to a number in the phonebook.
Press the softkey under » « to select any attributes for the number.
Lift the handset to establish the connection and send your message.
« until »Mail (UUS)« is displayed.
