Phonebook
Your Top A47
ISDN
contains a phonebook which is
– dynamically managed and can store up to 100 numbers (max. 24 digits) along with names
(max. 24 letters), and
– is available to all users.
You can save new entries (name and number), and edit and delete existing ones.
To dial numbers from the phonebook, see »Dialling from the phonebook«.
For new entries you can enter attributes in addition to the name and number. These attributes
define how your phone responds when dialling or accepting calls from this number.

You can choose whether or not to send your number to the called
party (CLIP or CLIR respectively). (Displayed as attribute »C«).
You can define how your telephone should react to incoming calls:
»none«:
Every call is signalled as normal.
»no filter«:
Calls are signalled even with an active filter.
»busy«
Every call from this number is rejected with a
busy signal.
You can programme a number with provider preselection.
(Displayed as attribute »P«).
You can enter additional digits (subaddress) after the number.
Subaddresses are used for remotely controlling equipment that sup-
ports subaddresses. The Top A47
subaddresses. (Displayed as attribute »Z«).
For PBX operation you can enter the exchange access code (EAC), if
required. (Displayed as attribute »X«).
For operation with a PBX, you can enter control functions (keypad)
before the number to access additional ISDN services.
Your PBX documentation will advise you on the attributes.
