Fuser Roller

If black spots appear wth prntng, the fuser
roller n the man unt may be drty.
Should ths occur, clean the fusng roller
n the followng procedure. The roller
should also be cleaned each tme the toner
cartrdge s replaced. Load a sheet of blank
LTR paper nto the mult-purpose tray and
start cleanng.
– Cleanng the roller takes approxmately 130
seconds.
– When some jobs are stored n memory, ths
functon s not avalable.

Open the multi-purpose tray.

Pull out the multi-purpose tray
extension until it clicks, then open
it.
Load a sheet of blank LTR paper.
Press [ ] or [ ] to select <FIX.
UNIT CLEANING>, then press [OK].
Cleanng starts. When fnshed, press [Stop] to
return to the standby mode.
– Use standard paper as the cleanng paper.
– Throw away the cleanng paper after use.
Press [ ] to select <YES>.
Cleanng starts. When fnshed, the dsplay
returns to standby mode.
To not perform cleanng press [
<NO>.
