Is the machine overheated?
Unplug the machne and let t cool for about 5 mnutes. Then plug n the
machne and try sendng agan.
Memory fills up immediately when you try to send.
Are you sending with the resolution set to <SUPER FINE> or <ULTRA FINE>?
If you want to keep your document qualty, dvde the document nto some
parts and send them separately.
If your document does not contan fne text or photographs, set the resoluton
to <STANDARD>.
If your document contans fne text or photographs, send t drectly rather than
usng a memory transmsson.
Is a document stored in memory, leaving little memory available?
Prnt, send, or delete any documents stored n memory.
Faxes sent from the machine are spotted or dirty.
Is the recipient's machine working properly?
Check the machne by makng a copy. If the copy s clear, the problem may
be n the recpent's machne. If the copy s spotted or drty, clean the scanner
components. (See "Scannng Area," on p. 2-4.)
Is the document loaded correctly?
Make sure the document s correctly loaded. (See "Loadng Documents," on
p. 2-5.)
The documents you sent are too light.
Is the density setting changed to be lighter?
Adjust the densty for lght documents to be darker. (See "Densty," on p. 4-7.)
