I VFO description
The IC-910H has two VFOs for both bands, specially
suited for instant selection of 2 frequencies or split fre-
quency operation. The VFOs are called VFO A and
VFO B. You can use the desired VFO to call up a fre-
quency and operating mode for your operation.
VFO is an abbreviation of Variable Frequency Oscilla-
tor, and traditionally refers to an oscillator.
◊ Selecting the VFO A/B
➥ Push [A/B 3] to switch between the VFO A and
VFO B.
◊ VFO equalization
➥ Push [A=B 2] for 1 sec. to equalize the undisplayed
VFO condition to the displayed VFO.
• 3 beeps sound when the VFO equalization is completed.
CONVENIENT
Use two VFOs as a quick memory
When you find a new station, but you wish to con-
tinue searching, the two VFO system can be used
for quick memory storage.
q Push [A=B 2] for 1 sec. to store the displayed fre-
quency into the undisplayed VFO.
w Continue searching for stations.
e Push [A/B 3] to retrieve the stored frequency.
r To continue searching for stations, push [A/B 3]
again.
