System Environment Requirements for Using E-Mail

The following system environment is required for using the e-mail functions.

- Lotus Domino R4.6, R5 (Windows)

- Qpopper 3.1.2 (UNIX)

NOTE
•
The machine sends e-mail messages to mail servers using the SMTP protocol.
The machine can receive incoming messages from a mail server using the POP3
protocol or directly using the machine's own SMTP receiving function.
If the latter method is used, it is not necessary for the mail server to support the POP3
protocol. (The machine can only receive error e-mail messages sent when errors occur
during communication.)
