IMPORTANT
If you use [Browse] to specify each item, press [Browse] after the expiration of the
time specified in "Startup Time Settings," on p. 3-25 (the default setting startup time
is 60 seconds).
Up to 128 alphanumeric characters can be entered for both [Host Name] and [File
Path] on the control panel. Use strings no more than 128 characters long for the
corresponding items on the server.
NOTE
You can send data using in the following formats. A DNS server is required for the
latter case.
\\192.168.2.100\share
\\host_name.organization.company.com\share
For instructions on specifying recipient address settings from the control panel, see
"Chapter 1 Various Sending Methods" in the Sending Function Guide
(imageRUNNER 105, imageRUNNER 8500, imageRUNNER 7200,
imageRUNNER 5000i), or "Chapter 1 Various Sending Methods" in the Sending
Function/Facsimile Guide (imageRUNNER 3300i). For instructions on using a web
browser (Remote UI), see "Chapter 2 Functions of the Remote UI" in the Remote
UI Guide.
The settings for sending data to the shared folder are completed.

Windows 2000/XP

IMPORTANT
The machine is not compatible with the Windows 2000/XP Active Directory.
The machine cannot send data to shared folders linked through the Windows 2000/XP
Distributed File System (DFS). Data should be sent directly to the file server containing
the linked shared folder.
