4-12 Protocol Settings

For NDS PServer, specify each item on the screen for setting NDS PServer as
required.

Press [OK] to return to the screen for setting NetWare.

Setting NDS PServer or NPrinter (When the browse right is limited to
the specific user)

Press [Browse].

In the Browse screen, select the Tree to which you log on, and then press
[Down].

Select the Context to which you log on, and then press [Down].
Repeat this step as required.

Press [Log On].
If the browse right is limited to the specific user, it is necessary to log on to NetWare as
a user to whom the browse right is granted.

In the Enter Network Password screen, enter the name and password of a user
to whom the browse right is granted, and then press [OK].
Enter a user name prefixed with CN= . If the password is not specified, leave
[Password] blank.

Select the Tree to which the desired print server belongs, and then press
[Down].

Select the Context to which the desired print server belongs, and then press
[Down].

Select the desired print server, and then press [OK].
