Enter the host name and domain name.
Enter the name of the machine as the "Host Name," and the network domain
name of the machine as the "Domain Name."

Specify the [DNS Dynamic Update] function.

If you want to use the DNS server dynamic update function, press [On].
Otherwise, press [Off].
IMPORTANT
The DNS dynamic update function enables the machine to register the IP address,
host name, and domain name of the machine to the DNS server automatically. This
function is available in the environment where there is a DNS server to which this
data can be registered dynamically (that is, a dynamic DNS server).
To use the DNS dynamic update function, enter the IP address of a DNS server,
the host name, and domain name of the machine. (See steps 9 and 10.)

Confirm the settings you specified, and then press [OK].
The display returns to the TCP/IP Settings screen.
If you are using the imageRUNNER 5000i and want to use LPD to print data on a
TCP/IP network, set the LPD banner page, and then proceed to step 13.
If you are using the imageRUNNER 5000i and want to use a print application
other than LPD (such as Raw or IPP), skip to step 23.
If you are using a machine other than the imageRUNNER 5000i, proceed to step
13.
