4.2.1 Antenna Settings
There are no settings or switches to adjust. The antenna is supplied 100-120 VAC – single phase or 220-240 VAC
via the cable from the computer.
4.3 P

4.3.1 Turning on Power to the Antenna
Turn on power to the computer system. This will supply power to the antenna. Note: Do not plug and unplug
the cable at the antenna.
4.3.2 Antenna Motion on Startup
When power is turned on to the antenna, the antenna will go through the following series of motions:
1.
The level cage will rotate to 90° elevation (fully counterclockwise) and then return to 0° elevation.
2.
The dish will rotate to 45° above level (45° elevation).
3.
The cross-level beam will rotate to 90° elevation (level position).
4.
6003L: The positioner azimuth drive will not rotate. Its position is read from the azimuth pot.
6003AL: The azimuth will rotate clockwise until it hits the upper stop. This calibrates the azimuth encoder.
5.
Commands to the antenna will not be valid for the first three minutes after power-up (initializing).
