10.3.9 sunclock

Determines the correct time of day and updates the system clock.
Format:
sunclock
Description:
sunclock is used to read the time of day from an external source and update the system's clock. The
system always runs on GMT (zulu/UTC time). This command can be called by the superuser or a
TeraScan user. Only the superuser can actually update the clock on the system. If a TeraScan user calls
sunclock, the difference in time between real time and the system clock time can be displayed (if the
environment variable ANT_DEBUG is set > 1) but the system clock will not be updated. To update the
clock, the real time clock is compared with the system and an adjustment to the system clock is made.
The function waits for one minute and then checks the error remaining on the system clock, which is
stored in the file $PASSDIR/last_location. This command cannot be used while the antenna is tracking
a satellite if the GPS unit is mounted on the antenna.
