6.3.11 DHCP Client Commands

6.3.11.1 ip dhcp restart
This command is used to initiate a BOOTP or DCHP client request.

ip dhcp restart

6.3.11.2 ip dhcp client-identifier
This command is used to specify the DCHP client identifier for this switch. Use the no form to restore to
default value.
Syntax
ip dhcp client-identifier {text <text> | hex <hex>}
no ip dhcp client-identifier
<text> - A text string. (Range: 1-32 characters).
<hex> - The hexadecimal value (00:00:00:00:00:00).
no - This command is used to restore to default value.
Default Setting
A text string : "Default"
