DESCRIPTION OF
PRINT OPERATIONS
(a)
Hopping
1
Hopping turns the resist motor in the "a" direction (in the CW direction) and drives
the hopping roller to advance the paper until the inlet sensor turns on. (In this
case, the resist gear also turns, but the resist roller is prevented from turning by
the one-way clutch gear.)
2
After the paper has turned on the inlet sensor, the paper is further advanced by a
predetermined length until the paper hits the resist roller. (The skew in the paper
can thus be corrected.)
