• Turn the Scanner Frame As-
sembly inside out and perform
the disassembly procedure.
a) Remove the Bottom Plate by
removing the three screws 4.
b) Remove the Sub-roller from the
Scanner Frame.
c) Remove the spring 1 from the
Scanner Frame.
d) Remove the ADF Roller As-
sembly by removing the gear
on the Scanner Frame.
e) After removing the ADF Roller,
remove the Pinch Roller by
holding up the two springs 2
while the Pinch Roller Shaft is
pushed and released.
f) Remove the Contact Image
Sensor by disconnecting the
connector.
5) PC1, PC2
a) After disconnecting the two con-
nectors, remove the photo-cou-
pler sensors PC1 and PC2 on
the Bottom Plate by pressing
the latch using the flat screw-
driver or the like.
(2) Reassembly procedure
Reverse the disassembly procedure.
